WA: Beatles memorabilia up for grabs
A print of JOHN LENNON'S handwritten lyrics to the poignant song Beautiful Boy, written
about his son Sean, are being sold by Perth Beatles memorabilia collectors, CARLENE and
RANDALL WALKER.
The WALKERS own an extensive collection of LENNON and Beatles memorabilia including
pictures, paintings and letters, many of which are for sale and on display at a Perth
restaurant.
Oceanus Restaurant owner TOM GALOPOULOS says there has been an unbelievable response
to the private collection.
He says he believes the heightened response is due to the death two days ago of LENNON'S
former fellow Beatle band member, GEORGE HARRISON.
Mr GALOPOULOS says the collection will be on display until tomorrow.
