NSW: Winds force cancellation of early fireworks =2
The Bureau of Meteorology said the blustery conditions in the Sydney metropolitan areawould ease over the next few hours but only slightly.
"There are quite windy conditions at present of around 35-45kph," a Weather Bureauspokeswoman said.
"The winds will gradually decrease in the next few hours and by midnight they willbe around 25-30kph."
